Twilight Safari Adventure

‍You can schedule your own Twilight Safari's on a Friday or Saturday, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (dependent on availability) with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 people per date.

This program is ideal for large families, sports teams, scouts, and other small groups, although children under 4 years of age are not permitted.

Twilight Safari Adventure Includes:‍

  • A guided evening Wildlife Museum tour
  • A guided evening Zoo tour
  • One Ambassador Animal Encounter
  • A peek at some of our animals in the Zoo (If available)
  • Hot dogs & s'mores to roast over a fire (propane fire pit; weather dependent), plus chips & a drink

‍Program Cost: $23 Per Person

‍Animal Encounter Add-On (optional): $100
An Animal Encounter can be added on for an additional charge. This option includes the presentation of three of our Ambassador Animals during your event.

Picnic Area Rental

Daytime Options:
The picnic area offers covered seating for about 200 guests on a first-come, first-served basis. It is equipped with restrooms, soft drink vending machines, and small playground for young children. You are welcome to stake out a picnic shelter area for your group, however the shelter is still open to the general public until 5:00 p.m.

Evening Options:
For a truly private event, the Picnic Area is available to rent ($250) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Your guests may visit the Zoo and Wildlife Museum during the day, until closing at 5:00 p.m., then gather at the Picnic Area for your event!

No grills are allowed.

EDUCATIONAL ADD-ONS

For more fun, you can add an Interactive Ambassador Animal Encounter to any of your Group Visits. During this encounter an Education Team member will visit your party with 3 of our Ambassador Animals*, and you and your guests can get up close to learn more about these amazing animals.

3 animals – 45 minutes - $100

*Ambassador Animals will vary depending on theme and availability. We thank you for your understanding.
