We are open 7 days a week. Rolling Hills Zoo is closed only 4 days each year: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Rolling Hills Zoo welcomes military personnel with a 15% admission discount, with proof of Military ID.

Traveling with your dog? Rolling Hills Zoo offers kennel service for your dog, free of charge, in an air-conditioned area, while you visit the Zoo & Wildlife Museum.Picnic Area
The picnic area offers covered seating for about 200 guests on a first-come, first-served basis. It is equipped with restrooms, soft drink vending machines, and small playground for young children. You are welcome to stake out a picnic shelter area for your group, however the shelter is still open to the general public until 5:00 p.m.

The Elephant's Trunk Gift Shop, located in the Wildlife Museum, is open year-round during regular Zoo & Museum hours.

Animal Art • ORDER ONLINE or in our Gift Shop!
You may now order unique Animal Art created by the animal artists of Rolling Hills Zoo online! Each Animal Art painting is unique, as each animal artist has their own style of creating a masterpiece.
Each art piece could take up to 2-3 weeks to create. Once the art is finished, we will notify you via email and/or phone. You may then choose to either pick it up during RHZ open hours, or have it shipped (extra S&H fee).
Hungry guests don't have far to go during their visit. The Overlook Restaurant is located in the heart of Rolling Hills, overlooking the beautiful zoo.
The Overlook menu includes grill items, ice cream, hot and cold drinks, and a host of other taste-tempting treats.
Seating for up to 40 guests is available inside the restaurant, and up to 200 guests outside on the patio. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
