"Meat" us at the zoo for a wild adventure into the world of carnivores! During this action-packed camp, young explorers will discover how meat-eating animals survive, hunt, and thrive across the globe. From the biggest predators to the smallest carnivores, we’ll dig into what makes these animals so fascinating AND so important to their ecosystems.

Each day, campers will “travel” to a different part of the world as we explore carnivores from:

• The Americas
• Australia
• Africa
• Europe & Asia

Campers can expect hands-on learning, age-appropriate activities, and up-close experiences that spark curiosity and ignite a love for wildlife. Every day is filled with zoo adventures, including interactive lessons, creative crafts, and special encounters with our Ambassador Animals.

Guardian & Me Campers: Age 4-5 & Under + 1 Adult

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

An adult, 18 years of age or older, is required to attend camp with their child.

Guardian & Me is geared toward 4 & 5 year olds, but younger is allowed with an adult present.

Each day is packed with fun, including:

• Hands-On Educational Activities
• A Creative Craft
• Encounters with our Ambassador Animals
• A Snack‍

Guardian & Me Registration Fees:

• Members: $25 Per Child, Per Day | $67 Per Child, All 3 Days
• Non-Members: $30 Per Child, Per Day | $81 Per Child, All 3 Days

Safari Explorer Campers: Ages 5*-7 & 8-12
March 17, 18, 19, 20
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

‍*Five-year-olds MUST be age 5 prior to August 21, 2026, and MUST have attended at least 1 day of Kindergarten to enroll & participate. If your child does not meet both of those requirements, they must register for Guardian & Me camp!


HABITAT HANGOUT: Kids can take the fun even further with our ONE-HOUR Habitat Hangout Add-On! This option is for Safari Explorer Campers only, and gives kids one hour extra to explore, play, and connect - all while supervised by RHZ staff.

Each day is packed with fun, including:

• A Zoo and/or Wildlife Museum Walking Tour
• Hands-On Educational Activities
• A Creative Craft
• Encounters with our Ambassador Animals
• A Snack

Safari Explorer Registration Fees:

• Members: $25 Per Child, Per Day | $90 Per Child, All 4 Days
• Non-Members: $30 Per Child, Per Day | $108 Per Child, All 4 Days

HABITAT HANGOUT ADD-ON for Safari Explorer Campers Only:

Fees are the same for both Members & Non-Members.

• $10 Per Child, Per Day | $36 Per Child, 4-Day Week
