Winter Camps

Kid's Winter Camps at Rolling Hills Zoo will be "Snow Much FUN" for children ages 4-6 & 7-12!

All Winter Camps will include a craft, games, Wildlife Museum tour & activities, and an animal encounter!
$20/Child for Members  •  $25/Child for Non Members
Time: All Camps are 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

AGES 4-6

MONDAY, DECEMBER 27th

Theme: Eat or Be Eaten - The campers will dig into what it takes to survive and who is eating who! This introduction to the food chain will be a fun and exciting way to learn about the animals we all have learned to love.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28th

Theme: How Cold Can You Go? -  Campers will learn what it takes to survive as a snow leopard in the extreme cold of the mountains, how seals survive the icy waters of the ocean, or why some animals simply choose to go into hibernation.


AGES 7-12

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 29th

Theme: Grab Your Grub & Go! - Animals and plants thrive on one another! Campers will dig into all levels of the food chain to see where energy is dispersed between all biotic and abiotic organisms and how it becomes a full circle of energy.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 30th

Theme: Ice-See Animals -  Ever wonder how animals thrive in uniquely extreme environments? Join us for an exciting camp discovering the amazing adaptations animals use to help them survive in the colder climates.
